‘My neighbour let their dog poo on my lawn – so I got my revenge’

An infuriated resident has taken to social media to share how got revenge on his next-door neighbor after they repeatedly allowed their dog to poo on his family’s front lawn.

The neighbourly feud started when the dog owners were spotted encouraging their pet to empty its bowels on the lawn – without cleaning up its mess.

The proprietors raised the issue in a polite conversation with the next-door residents and were promised it would never re-occur, but the problem became perpetual.

Recalling the dilemma in a Reddit forum, the poster explained that he was eventually pushed to their limit and plotted revenge against the careless pet owners.

“My neighbor’s dog keeps pooping on my mum’s lawn,” The Redditor wrote. “It’s p***ing me off as I’ve stepped in it twice. We’ve seen them have their dog poo on our lawn and walk away.”

“My mum has contacted them and they promise to stop but they won’t. My mum has talked to them four times and nothing.”

Taking matters into their own hands, the resident made their way next door and defecated in front of the neighbor’s home while no one was watching.

Though the poster wasn’t caught red-handed, the act was quick to trigger a reaction.

“I went for a jog and one of them asked me if I knew anything about it and I smirked and said ‘I’m sorry but maybe take that as a warning to not let your dogs poo on our lawns in the future or it might happen again,” wrote the Redditor.

“My mum is quite annoyed at me saying I need to grow up. But it stopped. He hasn’t left poo on our lawn in over a week.“

Commenting on the post, fellow Redditors were quick to point out that the revenge was hilariously petty.

“I aspire to this level of petty,” wrote one commentator.

Another quipped: “This, but on the roof. It’ll take forever to get rid of the smell. Especially, if you’re in a rainy area and it gets in the gutters,”

“I’m just imagining how uncomfortable it was to poop on their porch, out in the open,” noted another commentator.
