Moment Jack Grealish’s tipsy antics steal show at treble parade

Manchester City and England winger Jack Grealish admitted he hasn’t slept for over 24 hours since his side became only the second to win a treble. Saturday’s 1-0 win over Inter Milan confirmed the team became the first to win the Champions League, FA Cup, and Premier League since Manchester United in 1999.

To mark the occasion, Manchester City players took to the streets in an open-top tour bus, with the £100 million player’s slightly tipsy antics stealing the show. Images from the parade show the 27-year-old appearing to drink vodka straight from the bottle.

While he was also spotted chugging champagne and dancing in front of crowds of wearing just a high-visibility vest instead of a T-shirt. Grealish described the time since winning the Champions League as “the best day and night”.

Addressing the crowds, after being asked if he was “all right”, Grealish said: “Just basically, for the past 24 hours, I have had the best day and night.

Reports suggest Grealish appeared at the open-top parade having spent much of the time celebrating since winning the trophy in Ibiza. The resort is well known for partying Brits abroad.

Fans taking to social media expressed their support for the England star. Sharing a picture of the player, @DiegoElandante tweeted: “Super Jack Grealish.”

While @Eugene84 said: “We’ve been crying out for someone like Grealish since the 00s.”

Manchester City won the treble after finishing Premier League leaders ahead of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. Despite the Gunners being top of the league for 248 days, City won by five points, largely thanks to the partnerships struck up between Grealish, Erling Haaland, and Kevin De Bruyne.

The side won the FA Cup defeating Manchester United 2-1 at Wembley thanks to two goals from Ilkay Gundogan. While Rodri’s strike from outside the area separated Inter and City on Saturday night in Istanbul.
