MIT ADT University receives Star EV institution award – Times of India

PUNE: MIT Art, Design and Technology University’s Prof. Dr Sudarshan Sanap, Dean of School of Engineering and Science recently received Star Electrical vehicle (EV) Institution Award, in the Indian EV award 2022 event on December 2, at the Bombay exhibition centre Nesco Mumbai.
A statement issued by the university said that, the award function was organized by Franchise India in association with Opportunity India for the EV and mobility sector. MIT ADT University received the award at the hands of Gaurav Marya, President, of Franchise India, and Bollywood actor, Ali Khan.
“It is an honor and proud moment for me to represent the MIT ADTU and receive the prestigious award on behalf of all the stakeholders of the university,” Dr. Sudarshan Sanap said. EVs are currently being developed and produced in the country. However, there is a dire need to create entrepreneurship opportunities for stakeholders to tap this huge potential market.
Nominations were invited from Industry and Educational Institutes working in the electric vehicle domain to promote excellence and innovation in electric mobility added the statement.
The award event aims to enable entrepreneurs and educational institutions to get access to resources and define the way forward as a key player in shifting markets towards eco-clean energy. The award signifies the university’s contribution to the electrical vehicle domain considering today’s changeover in the automotive industry.
