Minecraft fans wowed as eleven-year-old bug is fixed – latest update stuns

THE latest Minecraft update has fixed an eleven-year-old bug that has been plaguing players.

It was one of the first bugs ever reported that affected almost every block in the game.

Reported as MC-1133, the bug meant that Minecraft only knew which block you were standing on if you were over the centre.

Standing on the edge of a block could cause a number of different issues that messed with all the physics in the game.

If it was an Ice block, you would not slide along it, and if you landed on a Slime block from a height, you would still die from fall damage.

Players could also stand along the edge of Magma blocks without being harmed, and it also allowed you to jump from Honey blocks.

It caused a lot of smaller issues for Minecraft players also, such as sound effects not playing.

However, the last update 23w18a has finally fixed the issue, meaning that all blocks should work as intended no matter where you stand.

Recently, a number of historic issues have been solved by developer Mojang, much to the delight of fans.

However, there is one issue that has still not been solved despite being just the fourth issue to be flagged.

MC-4 is currently flagged as low priority, but players would love to see Minecraft’s longest-standing unresolved bug finally fixed.

It also has to do with the edges of some blocks, and the way that other objects interact with them.

When something lands on the edge of the block, the game shows it in a different position than where it actually is.

This means that players can’t pick up the item, as in reality the item is not in the position it seems to be in.

It may be a while before this bug is fixed, but with the recent bug fixes we might finally have a solution.
