Masters leaderboard LIVE as Tiger Woods battles to avoid cut

Brooks Koepka has stolen the show at The Masters this year with his dominant form around Augusta through the opening two rounds, but there’s still plenty of golf to be played until the winner pulls on the famous green jacket. The four-time major winner was one of the fortunate golfers to get out on the course early on Friday before inclement weather disrupted the schedule later in the day.

The likes of Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Cameron Young and Adam Scott still have to compete their second rounds today. Rahm appears looks set to be Koepka’s closest challenger as he sits just three shots back from the American at the top of the leaderboard.

He still has the back nine to complete from his second round, but today’s schedule looks set to be disrupted even more than Friday. While heavy rainfall isn’t expected to pose a serious issue due to the SubAir system under the golf course, which helps the ground recover quickly from wetness, strong winds could be the issue.

Winds of up to 20mph are predicted while an isolated thunderstorm is also set to hit Augusta early in the day. While those fighting at the front will be hoping to pick up where they left off, there’s also pressure on those around the cut line with Tiger Woods still yet to confirm his place for the final two rounds.
