Smackdown!
Daytime TV host Mark Consuelos stripped down into a University of Michigan wrestling tank top, revealing his muscles to at-home viewers on “Live With Kelly and Mark” on Thursday’s episode.
The 52-year-old jumped into the ring with University of Michigan wrestler Mason Parris, who is considered “the most dominant wrestler in college.”
Before the pair started the smackdown, Kelly Ripa, 52, reminded the NCAA wrestling champion not to use all his might.
“He is your father’s age, so just take it easy on him,” she quipped. “Mark, it’s been fun being married to you.”
As soon as the match began, Parris demonstrated the “double leg takedown,” lifting the former “All My Children” star over his shoulder and carrying him around the set.
Consuelos, who didn’t stand a chance, looked directly at audience members in shock that he was hoisted in the air.
Once the amateur host and wrestler got back on the ground and into position, he claimed Parris “didn’t take him down” but instead up.
The guest admitted “he is going easy on [Consuelos]” and proceeded to slam him on the mat, lying on top of him.
Ripa quickly chimed in, “Is that how that was supposed to look?”
The wrestler threw in a couple more moves, tossing Consuelos around like a rag doll.
“Mason, on a scale of 1 to 10, how much fight is Mark putting up?” Ripa asked.
“He’s trying his best,” Parris chuckled.
Things got even more intense when Parris demonstrated his signature move, slamming the 52-year-old on his back and making a loud thud.
A frightened Ripa ran over to check on her husband, who responded, “I’m okay.”
The Post reached out to Consuelos’ reps to see if he sustained any injuries during the live demonstrations.
Despite all the massive beatdowns, Consuelos still fought to the end, where he attempted to hold Parris down to the ground but epically failed as the champ flipped him over on his back once again.
The host finally gave in and called it quits while Ripa applauded Parris with the Lodge trophy.
Ripa sent Parris off with encouragement for his upcoming “Final X Wrestling” competition saying, “Good luck, kick some butt!”
