Elanga, 21, could leave Man United in search of more regular first team football.

The Swede was limited to just five Premier League starts last season.

According to the Mail, Everton are set to enter talks with United over completing a deal for Elanga.

The Toffees came close to signing him on loan in January, only for their swoop to fall through.

Sean Dyche’s side will face stiff competition for Elanga’s signature.

The BBC claim that Man United are chasing a fee in the region of £15-20m for their homegrown star.

And The Times add that in addition to Everton, Nottingham Forest are also working on a deal for Elanga.

While he also has admirers in the Bundesliga.

The Red Devils could look to use interest from multiple clubs to drive up the price.

Elanga is under contract at Old Trafford until 2026, with United possessing an option to extend the deal by a further year.

The promising wide man was handed his United debut by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer towards the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

He has gone on to play 55 times for the Red Devils, scoring four goals and laying on four assists.

Elanga has also earned 12 caps for Sweden, scoring three goals.

In addition to Elanga, Forest are also chasing a deal for Willian.

The Brazilian is out of contract at Fulham and has not reported for pre-season.

With the former Chelsea ace edging towards a move to Forest, Fulham could now turn to his former Blues team-mate Callum Hudson-Odoi.
