A 33-year-old man was rushed to hospital yesterday evening (April 30) with “lacerations to his neck and face” after a fight in Woolwich.
Police were called shortly after 8pm on Saturday to a fight in Brookhill Road. Officers and paramedics attended and a 33-year-old man was rushed to hospital with lacerations to his neck and face. Police say his condition is not life-threatening.
A man was arrested near the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly after 20:00hrs on Saturday, 30 April, to a fight in Brookhill Road, SE18. Officers attended along with LAS.
“A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital suffering lacerations to his neck and face. His condition is not life-threatening. A man was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of GBH. He remain in police custody. Any witnesses are asked to call police on 101, ref 6516/30apr.”
