‘Magical’ UK walk is a ‘beautiful’ location – some can’t believe it’s in the UK

With the weather hotting up, many Britons may decide to stay at home this year in favour of going abroad.

Staycations became extremely popular during the pandemic when international trouble was near impossible.

But plenty of Britons have stuck to staycations post-Covid to cut costs and avoid airport hassle.

Travel editor and TikTok creator Emma Cooke took to the sharing platform with the ultimate walk for Britons to sample on an at-home holiday.

Walking is not only fabulous exercise but a totally free activity which promises some of the prettiest views in the UK.

Speaking about Prawle Point, Emma told her 381,000 followers: “This is one of the most beautiful walks in South Devon.

“It feels super remote but it only takes about 20 minutes to reach these views.” She explained that the most southerly point of Devon is here.

Those looking to bask in the views a little longer should sit down for something to eat, as it’s an “amazing” place to stop for a picnic.

The video has been liked by just under 60,000 travel enthusiasts and saved by more than 7,000 others.

@emhelena01 commented: “I did my Duke of Edinburgh award walking along here. So beautiful.”

Another was surprised that this stunning destination was in the UK. @quirkykaylyntravels stated: “Oh gosh England!! How!!”

@alicekevannsshelley called the place “magical”, while @elliefinnertymusic said it was “unreal”.

@natsnotok added: “I want more than anything to live near the coast.”

On the topic of Prawle Point, National Trust reads: “This walk is full of drama: heart-thumping clifftop climbs, with rocky raised beaches below.

“Look out for the sunken Demetrios below Signalhouse Point and don’t miss the ancient boundary stones that dot the landscape.

“Call in at the Coastwatch visitor centre to find out more about this wild and beautiful landscape.”
