Madonna has been spotted spending some quality time with her son David Banda as the pair rocked up to the recent WBA World Lightweight Championship.

The Like A Prayer hitmaker looked gripped by the fight between Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero in New York City’s Barclay Center in Brooklyn.

The pair both rocked bold looks (would we expect anything else?) for the event, with Madonna, 63, donning a long black tracksuit with chains around her neck and pink Balenciaga sunnies, wearing her long blonde hair down.

David, 16, meanwhile, donned a sporty red dress, also pairing his look with chains and a pair of sunnies, as he sweetly held his mum’s hand.

The pair enjoyed the fight with friends, seemingly having a blast together.

David is one of Madonna’s six children. She also has Lourdes Leon, 25, Rocco Ritchie, 21, Mercy James, 16, and twins Stella and Estere Ciccone, nine.

The star has always been a doting mum, even getting a tattoo in 2020 dedicated to her kids.

She had all of her kids’ initials etched across her wrist, with the body art design reading: ‘L, R, D, M, S, E.’

Madonna’s four adopted children are from Malawai, with the pop legend previously telling People about her decision to adopt: ‘It’s inexplicable… You look into the eyes of somebody, you feel their soul, you feel touched by them – that’s it.

‘Sometimes I would just close my eyes and just think, “Why isn’t my kitchen filled with dancing children?”’

Madonna, who has said in the past that adoption can be ‘complicated, but so worth it’, continued: ‘There’s so many children that need a home… I thought, “What am I waiting for? Just do it.”‘

Most recently, Madonna has been spotted out on the town with her new bestie, FKA twigs after the pair spent time in London together.

On Tuesday, the duo had popped up at Central Saint Martins BA graduate show in the front row, causing quite a stir among its until-then unsuspecting patrons.
