Love Island’s Ekin-Su divulges plans to revive acting career in Turkey

Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed that while the soap that brought her fame in her ancestral country has ended, she still hopes to make a sensational return to acting in Turkish dramas after finding fame in the UK.

Speaking to The Sun, the reality star said she wants to return to Turkey and “reconnect” with the acting agencies that got her the role in 2020.

She declared: “I speak both English and Turkish so why can’t I have a career in both countries?”

The 27-year-old admitted it’s a “hard industry”, claiming there are always people who tell aspiring actors “you can’t do this”.

She added: “Even when people say no, you have to keep going. The old show’s finished now, but if there was a new project in Turkey, I definitely wouldn’t say no.”

However, earlier this month Davide spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk saying he is simply waiting for the right time to propose.

He said: “I think that there is time before the official ring. There will be time. We’re just waiting for the right moment and we’re just living day by day.

“We are trying to make it (our relationship) less planned than before – more enjoying the moment.”

While in the villa, fans uncovered Ekin-Su’s acting past and a clip from her time in the soap opera went viral, showing her character needing to be rescued from the ocean after trying to get the perfect picture of a sea otter.
