Love Islander Mehdi Edno, 26, has already caused chaos since revealing he is part of this year’s ITV line-up.
Friends of the French singleton were initially “worried” about him entering the villa, due to not being familiar with the British ITV2 show.
In an interview, Mehdi admitted that “to start with my friends were a little bit worried because this is not something that they know”.
However, the model went on to insist he has “supportive parents and friends”.

He also said his loved ones are now hoping he’ll go all the way and win the show: “They are rooting for me and they just want me to win now and find love.”
The Love Island star even shared that he has already had the chat about having sex in the villa with his family.
He revealed: “So, you know in my family we are very transparent, we talk about everything we know everything about each other.”
“They are the ones who raised me and they know how I am in myself and how I will probably behave in the house.”
Medhi has his sights set on finding love this summer while competing in the series.
The hunky French model – originally from Bordeaux, who resides in London – said he is “ready to find love”.
He shared his ideal type on paper: “Needs a good sense of humour, that doesn’t mean the jokes are good but she tries, I like that, I like an outgoing girl, unapologetic, not shy, ambitious, and fiery! I like to cause drama.”
Although the Love Island hopeful likes to cause drama, he confessed he prefers to stay out of it.
“Talking about opinions, I am French, so you know how our opinions are, we always say how it is.
“But I am 26 years old so I know how to approach things, I guess I am mature enough not to hurt anyone’s feelings, which is the important thing, it is important to keep everyone happy.”
This season kicks off with a huge twist as viewers will have the power to pair up contestants before the first episode.
Maya Jama, 28, will be back to host the new season following on from her much-loved debut on the winter edition earlier this year.
