Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo are full of gratitude as they now have their own resort—a property they only dreamed of before.
The actress gave a glimpse of the property through her Instagram page on Tuesday, March 7, and reflected on how their dream of having a house by the beach inspired them to buy a resort in Pampanga.
The celebrity couple first visited the said property when Manalo suffered from anxiety and opted to spend time at a “far” and “quiet” place. Abella said they instantly fell in love with the place, prompting them to buy the resort from its owners.
“Araw-araw namin pinag-pray kay Lord, araw-araw namin siyang kinakausap kung ibibigay ba niya sa amin ‘to, dahil hindi lang namin nagustuhan ang lugar pati ang mga owner, napakabait. At ngayon—boom—meron at magkakaroon na ng Casa Manalo Resort,” she said.
(We prayed for this, and every day we talked to God and wondered if He would give this to us. We came to like not just the place but the kind owners as well. Now, [we finally got it] and we will soon have Casa Manalo Resort.)
Abella was also ecstatic that she will be able to provide jobs as she will be needing caretakers for the property. She then commended her husband for a “good job,” adding that securing the future of their loved ones is their “purpose” in life.
She also encouraged her fans to work hard for their goals and trust that God has a plan for them.
Manalo, for his part, stated that they will be renovating the resort until April before opening it to the public.
Fellow celebrities Jerald Napoles, Chariz Solomon and Kakai Bautista were among those who cheered the couple on their new milestone.
Abella and Manalo got married in 2021 after being in a relationship for six years. Abella announced earlier this year that she and Manalo are expecting their first child together, after three years of trying to have a child. /ra
