LOOK: ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ alum Cha-cha Cañete is now a high school graduate

Cha-cha Cañete is “Bulilit” no more as she has now graduated from high school and is set to pursue a college degree at the Ateneo de Manila University.

The former “Goin’ Bulilit” star shared her latest milestone by showing her graduation photo through her Instagram page on Friday, June 16.

“Today, I am graduating from Senior High in [University of Sto. Tomas], and will be moving on to Ateneo for college,” she wrote.

“My congratulations to all the graduating students this school year,” she added. “Hoping that our next chapters will lead us to discover the key to success in the greatest battle of all, life. Cheers and see you all around!”

Cañete concluded her post by addressing those who have been part of her journey, saying, “My gratitude to all of you for always supporting me.”

Cañete’s achievement was also celebrated by fans who sent their congratulatory messages via the comments section.

Cañete will be pursuing a degree in Diplomacy and International Relations with Specialization in East and Southeast Asian Studies in college, as per her earlier Instagram post.

Aside from her stint in the now-defunct kiddie show “Goin’ Bulilit,” Cañete is known for starring in a 2009 advertisement of a real estate giant.

She also joined international singing contests including the 7th World Championships of Performing Arts in California in 2013, in which she bagged two silver medals.  /ra
