Liam Gallagher rages Matt Hancock is ‘pulling the wool’ on I’m A Celeb

Liam Gallagher, 50, has been following along with the I’m A Celebrity action and couldn’t resist an expletive-laden tweet after discovering Babatunde Aleshe had left the jungle, while the controversial former Health Secretary Matt Hancock was still at large. Lamenting the public’s decision to keep Matt, Liam said he “couldn’t live” in a world where the MP was winning.

Just minutes after comedian Babatunde left, Liam tweeted to his 6.3 million followers: “F*** off love Babatunde, can’t live in a world where t**t Hancock still pulling the wool.”

As the likes piled up on his post, Babatunde himself responded with a fist emoji, declaring: “MAN LIKE LIAM GALLAGHER!!!!!!!!”

The post was then flooded by cheeky fans mischievously asking Liam who he preferred – his brother Noel, with whom he has a well documented feud, or Matt.

Liam, who describes himself in his Twitter profile as a “God-like” icon, received a string of messages from followers demanding that he entered the show himself and predicting he’d be crowned the King of the Jungle.

Now six celebrities have been sent home – Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas, Sue Cleaver, Boy George, Babatunde and Chris Moyles, the most recent public figure to reach the end of the road.

Christopher Biggins had predicted that Matt would manage to evade eviction, with the former King of the Jungle even praising him for “winning” public support.

“He’s doing everything brilliantly and however much you may hate him, he is a player and he goes for it – he really does go for it, he gets all the stars.

“He feeds the camp, he’s charming, [he’s] won over the camp and I think he’s winning the audience over too,” he claimed last week.
