LeBron James celebrates son Bronny’s high school graduation: ‘Continue to fly’

They grow up so fast!

Bronny James, the oldest son of Lakers superstar LeBron James, celebrated his graduation from Sierra Canyon High School on Thursday — weeks after he announced his commitment to USC.

“Continue to fly high,” LeBron posted on Instagram alongside a crown emoji.

The proud father also shared a clip of when Bronny, 18, accepted his diploma during the ceremony while he went live for thousands of viewers during his son’s special day.

A smiling Bronny could be seen in his cap and gown pointing to the camera in a photo posted by LeBron’s mother, Gloria James.

“You’ve always made me very proud of you. And seeing you graduate tonight, just made me feel an even bigger sense of pride,” the grandmother wrote in a heartfelt caption.

“Continue to spread your wings and soar to new heights. Love you very much, Grammy,” she added.

The 18-year-old also recently stepped out with his rumored high school sweetheart, Peyton Gelfuso, for the senior prom at Sierra Canyon.

Bronny rocked his silky black Chrome Hearts blazer, in which he went shirtless, and wore a pair of snazzy Dior designer shoes for the big night.

“Lost for words,” Bronny’s mother, Savannah James, posted on her Instagram showing the prom fit.

Bronny has been making headlines all year following his breakout senior year at Sierra Canyon.

The high school phenom ranked No. 19 in the ESPN 100 among the Class of 2023, averaging 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals.

But now, the 6-foot-3 guard will stay in California to play on a Pac-12 USC team loaded with talent for the 2023-24 regular season.

Bronny joins USC’s returning star guard Boogie Ellis, 5-star guard recruit Isaiah Collier, 4-star forward recruit Arrinten Page, and Washington State transfer forward DJ Rodman (son of Dennis Rodman).

“This is an incredible thing,” LeBron said of Bronny attending college. “Unless it was one of my great-grandmothers or great-grandfathers that was way before my time, to my knowledge this is the first one out of the James gang to go to college.

“Obviously, his dad didn’t go to school, his mom didn’t go to college. I think my mom maybe stepped on campus a bit, a community college or something, but she had my little ass running around so she couldn’t spend much time in the classroom,” the Lakers’ superstar added.

LeBron was asked about his aspirations for wanting to play with Bronny, though the 4-time NBA champion left room for doubt following a 4-0 Lakers exit after being swept in the Western Conference Finals.

“I’ve done what I’ve had to do in this league, and my son is going to take his journey,” he said when asked after being eliminated. “And whatever his journey, however his journey lays out, he’s going to do what’s best for him. And as his dad, and his mom, Savannah, and his brother and sister, we’re going to support him in whatever he decides to do…”
