Laura Hamilton inundated with support after car accident

Laura Hamilton is currently filming abroad in Spain but revealed her week got off to a bad start after a “minor incident”.

Taking to Instagram today, the mum-of-two shared behind-the-scenes footage with her team as she showed prospective house hunters luxury properties.

The A Place In The Sun presenter admitted she ended up feeling “pretty rubbish” after she had a car accident on the way to visit her first property.

She penned: “Happiness… When you love people. When you love travel. When you love property. When you love your job! I am always grateful…

“But let’s be honest life isn’t always rosy, even if it seems so…”

Laura went on: “The start of this week actually got off to a pretty sh***y start… unfortunately (and for the first time ever abroad) I had a car accident as I was on the way to our first property…

“Before anything is over dramatised, it was a minor incident and more importantly no one was hurt. However, I still felt pretty rubbish.”

She continued: “However, I think it’s important in life to always focus on the positive and whilst I felt rubbish, I had to keep smiling.

“I had to ensure my house hunters had the best time with me and lots of fun whilst we looked for their dream holiday home.”

The Channel 4 favourite said despite the setback the search for the house hunters dream property continued as she went straight back to work.

“The search isn’t over yet but I think it’s been a successful one so far and we have certainly had a lot of laughs,” Laura commented.

“Thank you as always to the team on the road and back in Blighty that make this all possible!”

She added the hashtags: “#grateful #positivity #travel #explore #property #wanderlust.”

Laura was inundated with messages of support in the comment section.

Andrea wrote: “Glad you’re ok! Stay positive.”

Heidi commented: “Hope you’re ok. The couple will be having a great time and we can’t wait to watch x.”

Sarah added: “So pleased you’re OK Laura.”

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
