Kim Woodburn has again slammed Holly Willoughby, accusing her of ‘aiding and abetting’ her former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.

Over the past few weeks’ reports had emerged that the presenters were ‘barely speaking’ and had a falling out.

Despite calling Holly, 42, his ‘rock’ and ‘best friend’ in a statement, Schofield, 61, eventually announced his exit from the breakfast television programme last weekend.

Then, on Friday evening, he resigned from ITV altogether after admitting to a relationship with a young man who used to work on the show, which he labelled as ‘unwise but not illegal’.

As the behind-the-scenes show drama has unfolded, Kim, 81, hasn’t held back, previously calling Schofield ‘nasty’ and Holly ‘two-faced’.

Now she’s given another interview where she’s let rip yet again.

When attending an event in Birmingham overnight, Kim told Gaydio that she ‘didn’t feel sorry’ for Schofield and thought he’d had the This Morning gig for ‘too long’.

‘Give it to somebody else who is nice and friendly. When somebody is rude and nasty and vicious, which he’s been with me, I can’t feel sorry for him,’ she said.

‘He’s had 20-odd years of earning over £1 million a year.

‘He’s had the job too long,’ she added.

But then Kim turned her attention towards Holly, whom she said should ‘also go’.

‘I don’t think she will have a choice,’ she said.

‘She isn’t as nice as she makes out.’

She then claimed Holly had ‘plotted’ to ‘get rid’ of Schofield and accused her of having ‘no personality whatsoever’.

‘When he is being to rude to people she never once told him he was being nasty and she lets him do it and she aides and abets him.

‘I think she should go, and I think she will go.’

Kim’s comments came soon after Schofield’s statement admitting his affair and confession that he had lied to his bosses and colleagues about the nature of the relationship.

Previously speaking about her time appearing as a guest on This Morning, Kim said: ‘You could tell he was king on that show. I mean, he was really ruling the roost. And whenever I’ve been on with him, he hasn’t been very pleasant.

‘He wasn’t pleasant about my experience on Big Brother. He was downright nasty. He was sniggering at me.’

She continued: ‘The game’s up. Everything’s out about him. It’s all been exposed. He’s gone.’

Speaking about Holly, Kim previously said the presenter was a ‘two-faced b****’ and said she was ‘not all sweetness and light’.

Metro.co.uk has contacted representatives for Kim Woodburn, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for comment.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
