Kerala University PG Entrance Exam 2021 hall ticket released, download here – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Kerala University has released the hall ticket for PG Entrance Examination 2021 on its official website – keralauniversity.ac.in.

Candidates, who have successfully submitted their PG Entrance Examination 2021 application form can download their admit cards. Candidates should produce their hall ticket at the time of examination for verification.

Admissions to the seats to be filled for the Departmental Post Graduate programmes are regulated on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test. Candidates should note that there will be no revaluation of answer sheets of entrance examination.
Candidates should report at the centre one hour before the commencement of the examination and avoid crowding at the gates. Candidates reporting after half an hour from the time of commencement of examination will not be admitted to the examination hall. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall half an hour before the time of completion of the examination. Candidates are prohibited from writing their names on any part of the answer book. Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.

Negative Marks

There shall be 0.25 negative marks for each wrong answer for multiple choice questions in entrance examination.

Covid Protocol must be strictly followed. Candidates must wear face mask in the Examination hall.

Rank List
Rank list for admission will be prepared based on the performance in the entrance exam. For sponsored candidates, ranking shall be based on 80% weightage for CGPA/aggregate marks at bachelor level and 10% for work experience (1%/year) and 10% for an interview conducted by Department Council.

Entrance examination as mandatory entry requirement

There shall be an entrance examination for admission to each PG Programme and no candidate shall be admitted to a PG Programme without taking the entrance examination; provided that the restrictions do not apply to SC/ST candidates admitted to vacant seats, foreign candidates and sponsored candidates.

Nature of Entrance Examinations

Entrance examinations shall consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions for 60 marks and descriptive type question for 40 marks covering subject knowledge at qualifying examination and/ or logical and numerical reasoning, for maximum of 2 hours. The descriptive part contains 8 questions out of 12 of 5 marks each. Medium of Examination shall be English except for Languages. Candidate shall secure a score greater than zero in the entrance examination conducted by the University of Kerala.

How to download Admit Card

The Admit Card for the Entrance Examination can be downloaded from the official website of the University of Kerala – admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in.

Enter your Application number and Password in order to download the admit card.

Take a printout of the admit card. Admit cards will not be sent by post from the University.

The venue of the examination and time table will be given in the admit card.

Categorization of Seats

Seats available in University Departments are mainly classified as Merit Seats and Reservation seats.

Merit Seats: The seats that are to be filled by the University for the Departments are classified as “Merit Seats”.

Reservation Seats: The seats in the Departments of the University that are earmarked for SC/ST/SEBC/BPL/PWD are classified as “Reservation Seats.”
