MANILA, Philippines—Anyang KGC notched its eighth straight win after outlasting the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus, 70-64, despite a quiet outing by Rhenz Abando in the Korean Basketball League at Daegu Gymnasium on Sunday.
Abando only scored three points in 17 minutes but had four rebounds and two steals for top team Anyang, which climbed to 31-11.
SJ Belangel tallied eight points for Daegu (13-27) in the loss.
Dave Ildefonso continued to play limited minutes as the Suwon KT Sonicboom buried the Jeonju KCC Egis, 86-73, at Suwon KT Arena.
Logging only seven minutes, Ildefonso finished with only a point and an assist. Suwon improved to 18-23.
Justin Gutang hardly played as well in the Changwon LG Sakers’ 94-84 rout of the Seoul SK Knights at Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium.
