Kate is mesmerising in repeat £460 red ballgown in new image
Kate Princess of Wales looked typically stunning in the promotion image for Royal Carols: Together at Christmas. She wore the ‘Aurora’ Ballerina Dress by Needle & Thread London, but this is not the fitst time she has been spotted wearing the gown.
Kate was mesmerising in the photo, wearing an intricately embroidered red sequinned dress.
It boasted a pie-crust collar and sheer sleeves embossed with velvet and sequins.
Compared to many dresses the royals have been spotted in over the years, Kate’s Needle & Thread dress costs a more affordable £460.
A firm believer in recycling her clothes, Kate previously wore it in January 2020 when she co-hosted a reception at the Palace with Prince William marking the UK-Africa Investment Summit.

Kate looks almost identical two years later to her January 2020 look.
The main – and perhaps only – difference appears to be that her hair has grown significantly longer.
Aside from this, the Princess even went for a similar makeup look: her signature smokey eye, shimmery pink lips and sweep of blush.
Kate’s latest look is described on the official website as follows: “The Aurora Ballerina Dress in Cherry Red. This light-catching ankle-length dress is decorated with red shimmering sequins, and was inspired by a vintage lace tablecloth.

“The Aurora Ballerina is a long-sleeve dress with pretty floral elements, and a flattering silhouette.
“There is delicate frill lace detailing around the neck and arm for further intrigue. Style yours with an on-trend hair ribbon for the perfect look.”
Kate decided to wear her hair down, however, in elegant loose curls. She also opted for a chic off-centre parting, which added lots of volume.
As for accessories, Kate stuck with the red theme and went for Soru Jewellery’s Ruby and Gold Drop Earrings, which she also appeared to wear the last time she wore the dress.

The stunning earrings cost £145 and are described as follows: “These drop earrings feature genuine ruby gemstones set within multifaceted sparkling crystals, for an earring that is rich in colour and always twinkling.”
It also highlighted the beautiful meanings and properties of the ruby: “The birthstone for July, traditionally given to celebrate the 40th wedding anniversary.
“Thought to heighten vitality, clear the mind and increase concentration and motivation.”
Kate’s look will be showcased fully on December 24 when Royal Carols: Together at Christmas is broadcast on ITV.
Unsurprisingly, Kate fans were delighted by the Princess’s latest fashion move and particularly supported her decision to rewear a previous outfit.
Royal fan@farah_lou took to Instagram, commenting: “One of my favourites! So glad she repeated.”
@courtmanchuadded: “Perfect, and a happy repeat! Very good idea!”
@florence.pit agreed: “So happy to see that dress again, it is perfect for the occasion! Sparkling and red.”
@just_sandra000 also expressed a love for the Princess: “I don’t have any more words to describe the beauty, poise and warmth of Catherine, Princess of Wales.”
