Kajol discloses Shah Rukh Khan had a frozen shoulder after the iconic DDLJ poster

Kajol recently talked about the iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) poster, featuring Shah Rukh Khan carrying her on his shoulders.

In an interview with a news portal, Kajol disclosed her concern for Shah Rukh during the photo shoot, fearing that she might feel heavy on his shoulder. However, Shah Rukh made her feel comfortable and light, despite having a frozen shoulder after the shoot.

She said, “One thing that comes to my mind is how I got into that position by the way. Ek toh bechara Shah Rukh kandhe pe uthaake… mujhe itna bura lag raha tha uske liye, itna bura lag raha tha. I was like, ‘are you sure you can do this?’ He said, ‘Don’t worry, I am strong.’ I was like, ‘ya, but you have to carry me on your shoulder. Will you be able to?'”

Kajol acknowledged that the pose appeared effortless, but she admitted feeling concerned about Shah Rukh’s well-being. She mentioned that he took it as a challenge to his masculinity when she expressed her worries, saying, “How can you say that to me? I am a guy.” Despite that, Shah Rukh kindly carried her without making her feel heavy during the shoot. However, it was revealed that later he developed a frozen shoulder as a result of the pose. At that time, the experience was a “wow” moment for them.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol was last seen in the thriller series The Trial. As per reports, she will next be seen in Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the thriller, Sarzameen. She also has Kriti Sanon’s Do Patti.
