Juventus ramping up their pursuit of Manchester United ‘target’ Antony

Juventus are said to be ‘ramping up’ their pursuit of Antony following reports Manchester United are keen to bring him to the Premier League.

The Brazilian, who currently plays for Erik ten Hag’s Ajax, is supposedly on the Dutchman’s list of players he wants to bring with him to Old Trafford. Antony has played a pivotal role in Ajax’s good form this season, scoring 12 goals and grabbing 10 assists in 33 matches.

However, should Ten Hag wish to bring him to Old Trafford, he will have to fend off the interest of Juventus, according to Calciomercato. They claim that Juve’s attempts to sign the 22-year-old are set to ‘intensify’ but they admit that it could be difficult for the Serie A club to reach the €35m (£29m) price tag set by Ajax.

Elsewhere, Ten Hag has reportedly told United that he wants to sign Feyenoord full-back Tyrell Malacia. The Mirror claims that Ten Hag rates the 22-year-old after he burst onto the scene with the Eredivisie club this season.

Malacia has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal. The Gunners reportedly entered into discussions with his representatives, however, a deal could not be reached.
