Some followers believed the caption she wrote could potentially be lyrics for an upcoming and unreleased song. One person asked: “THE CAPTION IS A LYRICS?”

Others appeared to be on the same line, asking the singer when she was going to release some new music. Another fan asked: “Jesy when are you gonna release anything.”

While some fans showered her with praise, saying: “And just who gave you the RIGHT???”

A fourth said: “So much confidence omg.”

Jesy landed back in the UK just a day after Little Mix began their hiatus after ten years making music together. The group’s final show was at London’s O2 Arena, finishing the show with “Between Us”.

Little Mix have begun their hiatus

Little Mix struggled to sing through tears in their final performance before “taking a break” from the band, with Perrie Edwards, saying she had a “constant lump” in her throat, and began crying just minutes into the show.

In the last moments of the show, there were long stretches of silence as Perrie – along with bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – appeared to give up, turning their microphones towards the audience. “It’s about our journey, it’s about our love for each other, and we never get through it without crying,” Perrie said. “Can you help us sing this next one?”
