James Weir recaps: ‘Raging’ reality stars trash house

Two out-of-control reality stars have been filmed going on a rampage and trashing a house. James Weir recaps.

There’s an Ikea massacre on Tuesday night’s Big Brother VIP when two out-of-control celebrities rampage through the mansion and leave it more trashed than a Married At First Sight star’s reputation.

Coincidentally, one of the vandals is actually a former MAFS contestant herself. Just a few years ago, we watched her instigate a cheating scandal. Tonight, we witness her flipping a couch.

It’s a real full circle moment.

Things are weird between the girls. Jessika Power and Imogen Anthony teamed up and voted out that Ellie lady last night, along with that footballer Dayne. Why’d they ditch the sisterhood? Because of very sensible reasons.

“I’ve known Ellie for eight years,” Imogen explains. “She has made me feel weird before. She unfollowed me on Instagram for no reason, after we had – what I thought – a really good time.”

But getting rid of Ellie isn’t as simple as blocking a sorta-friend on Instagram. She’s still secretly hanging around in the dark dank corridors of the mansion with Dayne as part of a covert mission that’ll see one of them make a sneaky return later on.

In the meantime, we wait around and listen to more SAS-style interrogations in the Diary Room.

“I’ve been paid close on $11,000 for one social media post,” Jessika reveals in a frank discussion about the lofty heights and painful lows that come after finding fame on Australia’s version of prestige television, Married At First Sight.

“I made Top 100 Maxim women. I made television history by swapping (MAFS) husbands. I didn’t like (my original husband), so I moved on with another husband. We were together for a little while – I got really upset with that because I really loved him. I moved states for him. It hurt … the whole of Australia knew. I got broken up with on national TV.”

But it’s all about silver linings. Sometimes heartbreak and public humiliation is worth it if it leads to being honoured in the well-thumbed pages of a Maxim magazine.

Imogen also opens up to Big Brother.

“I put up with Australia’s most hated man for almost 10 years — Kyle Sandilands,” she says of her relationship with The Kyle & Jackie O host. “Fed him. Kept him alive. We lived in Australia, we lived in America.

“When you know you have to hire security, that’s a pretty good indicator (that you’re famous). When you get stalked.”

After these sincere moments of pure vulnerability, Big Brother informs them that one of the two ding-dongs they ruthlessly backstabbed and eliminated last night will be returning to the competition to exact revenge. The news flicks a switch inside Imogen and Jessika and the two girls suddenly become possessed – stomping and screaming through the mansion. The shrieks hit such ear-piercing levels that the other terrified housemates cower in the bedroom.

“I’m sick of this place! Where’s my champagne, before someone else drinks it!” Imogen yells.

Jessika stomps out to the Astro-turfed backyard and flips a daybed. Together, the ladies hurl the decorative yellow statement cushions in every direction while kicking the air and howling at the moon. “Big Brother you suck!” Jessika splutters.

“You forced me to do this! This is all your fault!” Imogen wails. “You forced me to be this kind of person! This is not who I am!”

The other housemates continue to hide.

“She’s going on a rampage,” one whispers.

“They’re raging,” that ex-Survivor contestant remarks. “I couldn’t date any of them.”

“Imogen and Jess turned the house upside down,” that hot guy from TikTok shakes his head.

Like two Godzillas with acrylic nails, they leave a trail of destruction. And when dawn finally breaks, illuminating the aftermath in the harsh light of day, the house resembles an Ikea at the end of a really busy Saturday.
