James Jordan complains Love Island ‘so predictable’ as new couples announced

Love Island season 10 is underway, with ITV deciding to shake things up this season by having the public decide which islanders are placed in couples together.

However, Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan, 45, has still suggested that the show isn’t really bringing anything new to the table.

James doesn’t seem to be alone either, as several fans have taken to social media to complain that the show invites “similar” people on each year.

In view of his 347,200 Twitter followers, the ex-BBC star voiced his opinion on the show so far.

“So predictable what’s happening here on Love Island,” he wrote.

A couple of fans took to the comments section to agree with James, with Tracey writing: “Same old story but yet we still have to watch it.”

While Rhys commented: “Very! Always the same people together! I wanna see a mix-up.”

Other fans took to Twitter to share their frustrations over this year’s line-up.

Maisie tweeted: “I swear these islanders are made in a factory because they’re the exact same people every. GOD DAMN. year.”

While Lois lamented: “I love #loveisland but I’m just not feeling it already, too soon.

“Not to mention, it’ll be the same challenges, conversations all over again. Hideaway, casa, the babies. #boring” (sic)

Maya Jama has returned to host Love Island this series after wowing audiences with her stunning debut earlier this year.

After turning heads as she entered the villa in a gorgeous white crochet dress, she announced which couples the public had chosen to be paired up.

The pairings are currently as follows: George and Jess, Molly and Mitchel, Catherine and Andre, Medhi and Ruchee, and Tyrique and Ella.

Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
