Gamers have reported on social media that Grand Theft Auto Online was not working for users on November 24, 2021.

The outage began to hit users at around 5am according to DownDetector, with 67 per cent of the problems being about the server connection.

Users took it to social media with one saying: “Gta online server tripping guess that mean it’s time to lay it down.”

Another one said: “@RockstarSupport gta online is down what’s going on.”

A third one commented: “I have diamonds and yall wanna have servers down again? For real?”

However, the problem seems to have been fixed and the service is back up.

How can I check if Grand Theft Auto Online is down?

Gamers can check the @RockstarSupport Twitter feed, to see if Grand Theft Auto Online is down.

Another place they can check is the Rockstar Service Status page.

Alternatively it might be worth visiting independent status checking sites such Is It Down or Just Me, Is It Down Right Now and Down Detector.

When has GTA Online been down before?

Users had previously reported problems with GTA Online, according to Down Detector.

The outage hit gamers on November 16 at 8pm as well as on November 12 at 6pm.

Rockstar support tweeted on November 12: “We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work on restoring services for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported titles.”
