Iphone: iPhone users in India can now download and use the ChatGPT app: Here’s how to do it – Times of India

Earlier this week, OpenAI launched the official ChatGPT app for iPhone users. Initially launched in the US, the app is now available in more than 30 countries including India. The app is designed to sync chats across the web and it also has voice input.
“With the ChatGPT app for iOS, we’re taking another step towards our mission by transforming state-of-the-art research into useful tools that empower people, while continuously making them more accessible,” said OpenAI in a blog post.
What the iOS ChatGPT app can do
The ChatGPT app for iOS offers users a convenient way to access personalised advice, gift ideas, flawless poems, and professional feedback instantly and accurately. With the integration of Whisper, OpenAI’s speech recognition system, you can simply talk to the ChatGPT without the hassle of typing every time. OpenAI has ensured that Whisper exhibits “human-level robustness and accuracy” specifically for English, making it a reliable and efficient feature within the iOS app.
How to download and use the app
You just have to head to the app store and search ChatGPT. The official app will then appear on your screen. You can now download the app by tapping on get.
After installation, the app will then ask you to log in using a Google account, Microsoft account or Apple account. You can also create your new account on ChatGPT. After this, you will have to key in your phone number for OTP verification. Once done the app is now set to answer all your queries. The ChatGPT app has the same simple interface as its web version. You can type your queries in the text bar and press enter to get answers. Apart from typing, you can also use voice commands to get questions answered.
ChatGPT Android app coming soon
OpenAI has also confirmed that it will soon bring the official ChatGPT to Android. The company has not yet revealed any specific timeline for the launch but it is expected to launch in the coming weeks.
