Inside Ken Block’s car collection worth millions featuring bespoke rally cars

MOTORSPORT fans woke up to the devastating news that Ken Block has died aged 55 after a snowmobile accident.

Block’s team Hoonigan Racing Division shared the news of his death saying “he will be incredibly missed.”

Block became one of the most famous Rally car drivers in the world after he started competing in 2005.

He landed Rookie of the Year in his first season in the Rally America Championship.

Block also competed in motocross, skateboarding, and other action sports.

He was known to the UK audience after appearing in episodes of Top Gear.

Block also produced the Gymkhana video series, which featured him driving on dangerous tracks and obstacle courses.

Block lived and breathed cars and had multiple bespoke motors created just for him for his Hoonigan brand with manufacturers like Ford, Porsche and Audi worth millions of pounds.

After his first Ford Escort Cosworth was lost in a fire in 2018, Ken wanted an even crazier one to replace it.

The ‘Cossie V2’ has a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine producing around 370hp which is sent to all four wheels.

1977 Ford F-150 Hoonitruck

The Hoonitruck started life as a classic Ford F-150 pick-up but was transformed by Hoonigan racing into what you see here.

It’s fitted with a modern Ford V6 engine making a colossal 914hp and was seen shredding its tyres in one of Ken’s amazing Gymkhana videos.

1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn

This is the car Ken used to take Matt LeBlanc for a high-speed tour of London on Top Gear.

Then it had an absurd 845hp from its ford V8 engine, but it has since been upgraded to 1,400hp.

2013 Ford F-150 Raptortrax

Ken had this Ford Raptor pick-up truck upgraded to 600hp and fitted with tank tracks to make it the ultimate go-anywhere machine.

It was shown off in a video for Monster Energy and is capable of climbing and descending deep snowy terrain.

1974 Ford Bronco

It’s not all about crazy rally cars – Ken also had this stunning 1974 Bronco built for his wife.

It was completely stripped back to its shell before being restored with a modern 5.0-litre Ford V8 with 435hp, a roll cage and lifted suspension.

2022 Audi S1 Hoonitron

In late 2021 Ken announced that he would be partnering with Audi on new projects with a focus on electricity.

The S1 Hoonitron was the result – a 1,400hp electric four-wheel-drive monster capable of tyre-shredding burnouts.

It’s estimated that the car costs more than £10million to develop and build.

2022 Porsche 911 Hoonipigasus

One of the last cars Ken announced as part of his Hoonigan racing garage was this Porsche 911 racer.

Called the ‘Hoonipigasus’ it’s a 1,400hp homage to Porsche 1971m ‘Pink Pig’ race car and was designed to take on the infamous Pikes Peak hill climb event.
