For any university, Infrastructure is the one of the most crucial tool along with other requisites including quality based education, practical exposure and extra curriculum.

As per study the most crucial elements of a good academic infrastructure which even contributes in their career are- Buildings, Classrooms, Laboratories, Equipment.

GLA University is spread across 110 acres of land and is home to more than 10,000 aspirants out of which about 5000 students stay in hostels in the campus. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure comprising of air conditioned, IT enabled class rooms, conference rooms, faculty cabins etc. The university has various Centers of Excellence and the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. From classrooms to playgrounds, laboratories to library and hostels to cafeteria, everything at GLA is made with immense concentration and taking students’ desires into consideration.

Lecture Halls– GLA University has 227 classrooms which are built like amphitheatre, so that the teacher can give equal attention to all the students. 65 out of these are tutorial rooms. The Internet facility is also available on the computers in the University.

Cafeteria– Food is what makes you healthy and enthusiastic. We at GLA believe in HHH (Healthy, Hygienic and Homestyle). Healthy- We want our students to eat healthy, live healthy and look healthy. Hygienic- We believe that only food is not enough for the body, hygienic food is our priority. Homestyle- Students residing in hostels should feel home away from home.

Playground

GLA believes in constant mental and physical growth of the students. Along with academic knowledge, we also give equal importance to Extra Curriculum. The campus has dedicated spaces for all major outdoor games such as football, cricket, hockey, badminton, basket ball, volley ball, athletics. GLA enhances the skills in the students who are passionate in sports. We tried our best to avail our students with facility of almost every sport.

We have Athletics Track, Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football ground, Handball Ground, Volleyball Court, Chess Hall, Table Tennis Hall, Lawn Tennis. Hostellers have an additional advantage as they can practice in the grounds after their classes. The discipline, hard-work and team-skills which accompany any sport are held at the highest level in the university and this is the reason why various sports teams of GLA have brought accolades from other institutions.

Libraries– To access the knowledge, library is the foremost essential. Here in GLA, we have a central library which is hub of information services in the university. We provide both digital and print format facilities to our students.

We try our best to provide books of every segment to our students. The Central library of our university is a member of DELNET which connects over 5000 libraries over the country and is a member of National Digital Library as well.

Laboratories– Theory is incomplete without practical implementation. Therefore, we provide you with the best practical knowledge via our advanced laboratories.

GLA University has a total of 157 well equipped labs where the students get a hands-on experience on various emerging technologies through which they get an opportunity to expand their practical understanding of how a particular phenomenon works.

Hostel

Home away from home

GLA University provides well-furnished hostel facility to its outstation candidates. The separate facilities for boys and girls, caring wardens and a tight security ensures a pleasant stay allowing you to focus on your academics. We have 15 boys’ hostels with a housing capacity of 4300+ boys and 4 girls’ hostel with a seating capacity of 1400 girls. There is a newly built 800-room hostel is Awarded one of the best 11 worldwide architecture design by world architecture community UK, this hostel is separated into five, 4-level blocks and weaving along the site in a pattern inspired by the streets of the historical centre

Gymnasium

All the hostels on the campus, both girls and boys, are equipped with gymnasia and fitness centers. Equipment like treadmill, exercise bikes, and the latest health-oriented tools are at the disposal of students and faculty & staff members so that they can benefit from the same.

Dispensary

The essential objective of Aarogyam is to maintain a holistic approach to the physical well-being of our students, faculty and support staff. We aim to offer 24×7 prompt and effective medical, surgical and psychosocial support to all workers and residents within the GLA Campus.

Research and Innovation

GLA University provides tremendous intellectual opportunities to demonstrate the area of research and innovation.

Entrepreneurship Cell- Entrepreneurship Cell, GLA University is a non-profit, strategically innovated, value-driven organization with the prime focus on impacting young minds and is run by the student entrepreneurs in making.

NewGen IEDC– New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (NewGen IEDC) is a programme launched by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.NewGen IEDC will aim to inculcate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the young S&T students, encourage and support start-up creation through guidance, mentorship and support.

CSED – Industry 4.0 Facility

GLA University in collaboration with Dysmech Competency Services (DCS) has set up the Center for Skill and Entrepreneur Development (CSED) a functional industry inside a campus wherein students will be exposed to the industry ecosystem with project-based learning program.

CSED at GLAU is working on skill development as an industry partner to bridge the gap. We call it Industry inside an Institute.
