I’m teaching people to drive in a Rolls-Royce and my hourly rate isn’t that bad
A DRIVING instructor is offering the chance to learn to drive in a Rolls-Royce and it isn’t as expensive as you might think.
In a video that was uploaded to Instagram on the @supercarseurope channel, the instructor was caught in traffic in the Roller in London.
The video is shot using a smartphone and starts with the caption and voiceover saying: “How much is a driving lesson in a Rolls-Royce?”
The shot shows a blue and silver Rolls-Royce Ghost, which costs around £250,000 to buy new.
On top of the Rolls is an L-plate sign with ‘Danny’ written next to it.
Also an Instagram user, @dannydriving_ is a Birmingham-based driving instructor who has around 3,000 followers.
On his website, there are pictures of the blue Rolls-Royce and also details about manual-gearbox driving lessons from £27 an hour.
When approached by the person filming, the instructor confirms that the Rolls-Royce is available for £100 an hour.

Although clearly a lot more, that’s not bad given the cost of buying a Ghost in the first place.
The catch is a Ghost doesn’t come with a manual gearbox, so you’d be restricted to an automatic gearbox licence if you chose it.
@bossbabe_uk said in the comments: “I will go for hourly lessons even though i already have a licence.”
@jordanplamerr said: “Not even that expensive, this is what you pay in Germany for a normal driving lesson in a golf????????”
While @je.qun said: “100 is standard in switzerland for 45-60mins????and you only get a seat leon if you‘re lucky????”
