The lineup for I’m A Celebrity All Stars has been revealed – but fans have been left confused after one huge star isn’t on the list.
The special series, which kicks off next month, will see former contestants head to South Africa to face a new set of challenges.
The stars confirmed to be taking part include Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder, former Countdown queen Carol Vorderman, Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan and American model and businesswoman Janice Dickinson.
The line-up is completed by former Royal butler Paul Burrell, cricket legend Phil Tufnell, boxer Amir Khan, javelin ace Fatima Whitbread, and Diversity’s Jordan Banjo.
However, fans have been left scratching their heads over the omission of Joe Swash, who originally won the ITV reality show in 2008.
It comes after Joe, 41 was ‘confirmed’ as being a contestant on the show by Loose Women star Linda Robson during an interview on the show in October.
‘You’ve been away for a little while haven’t you?’, Linda asked the actor, to which he replied: ‘Yeah I’ve been away for a little while Lind.’
The host then asked ‘You’re not allowed to say where you was or what you were doing?’
Joe then jokingly responded: ‘I knew you’d get there in the end Lind!’ which sparked speculation the star would be appearing in the series.
Fans have taken to social media to question why Joe has not been announced for the show.
‘Where is Joe Swash? He IS I’m A Celeb,’ one user asked.
Another agreed: ‘You can’t have an all stars line up without Joe Swash!’
The star’s wife, Stacey Solomon, has shared a family update after Joe was missing from the show announcement.
The Sort Your Life Out host, 33, did not address the cast announcement, but did give a health update on her husband saying he was suffering from ‘man flu’.
Speaking on her Instagram story, Stacey explained that her mum had looked after the pair’s children Rex and Rose for her so that she could dye her roots and head to the shops.
‘I must be the world’s worst wife because all of you are so lovely like “Oh I hope Joe is ok… Sending love” and wishing him better and I’m going to sound really horrible now… But I’ve just got like no sympathy for man flu,’ she said.
ITV has confirmed further names will appear throughout the series.
A release date has not yet been announced, but it has been confirmed the show will be coming to ITV next month.
