TV presenter AJ Odudu and professional dancer Kai Widdrington have been taking the Strictly ballroom by storm over the past few weeks, but fans think something else could be brewing under the surface. After their passionate performances and shy, giggly behaviour on Strictly: It Takes Two, romance rumours have started to circulate.
AJ, 33, and Kai, 25, have incredible chemistry when they take to the dancefloor each week, which has led fans to believe they might be the latest couple to become romantically involved after meeting on the show.
There was an undeniable spark visible between the pair when they danced to Whitney Houston’s classic Bodyguard movie hit ‘I Have Nothing’ for Strictly’s movie week.
The beautiful and passionate American Smooth, in which Kai quite literally swept AJ off of her feet, earned them both an impressive 35 points from the judges.
At the end of the dance, the pair exchanged a passionate embrace and hovered just inches away from each other’s faces.

However, it was Kai’s comments after the dance that were picked up by his microphone which really sent Strictly fans wild.
The dancer could clearly be heard saying “Aww, I love you. I love you so much,” to his partner.
Twitter user @MillieSansoye commented: “If AJ and Kai don’t end up together after #Strictly I will RIOT”.
Another fan @markmellorjones said: “AJ and Kai didn’t deny those rumours did they!
Before playing the clip of Kai’s “I love you” moment, the host said: “You were both saying you wanted to bring romance to the floor and I think you really did.”
After the clip was finished Janette delved deeper, which provoked a shy reaction from AJ and her dance partner.
“Do you find that you’re getting a bit of a deeper connection in this partnership?” she asked.
In response Kai said: “I think that was all down to just the tough, tough week that we had and the fact that we got to the end of the performance and it was flawless and you smashed it, and you did all the lifts brilliant, did all the technique perfect.” (sic)
Zoe Ball also questioned AJ about a potential love connection on her breakfast show, but the star chalked it all up to the way they were feeling in the moment.
“She’s giggling nervously, that’s a good sign!” Zoe commented as AJ gave her response.
“You know, I was in character at that moment on the dance floor this week,” the Strictly star confirmed.
“I was playing Rachel, he was playing Frank, they were in love.”
