How Musk and Zuckerberg measure up for cage fight – as Tate offers ‘training’

TESLA CEO Elon Musk seems to be gearing up for a cage fight against Mark Zuckerberg after he challenged him to a match-up.

Earlier this week, Musk, 51, tweeted: “I’m up for a cage match if he is,” responding to a Twitter user who said, “Better be careful @elonmusk I heard he does the jujitsu now.”

Zuckerberg, 39, responded with a screenshot on his Instagram story that read “send me location.”

Editor of The Verge Alex Heath, reported that Zuckerberg is serious about fighting Musk and is “now waiting on the details.”

While Musk responded with the words: “Vegas Octagon.”

In a separate tweet he added: “I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus,’ where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing,”

Two billionaires have developed a feud following reports of Meta’s possible Twitter rival.

And disgraced influencer Andrew Tate who has been charged with human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang, has offered to train the Twitter boss.

The shameless influencer, who was banned from Facebook last August, wrote: “Meta banned me everywhere for telling the truth about vaccines.

Kickboxer Tate, 36, showed his support for Musk and offered to train him ahead of the fight.

“But now we can restore honour with a strike at the enemy clans leader. I will train you @elonmusk. You will not lose.”

Tate was banned from Meta’s platforms Facebook and Instagram for violating its policies on dangerous organisations and individuals.

Despite his massive following of 4.6million followers at the time of the ban, Tate was removed from Instagram after sharing his disturbing views about women.

If the rumoured fight between the two tech bosses takes place indeed, it appears that the scale is tipping in favour of Zuckerberg.

‘The Zuck,’ 39, with a net worth of $100.9 billion, is a huge MMA fan and won his first set of jiu-jitsu matches last month.

The 5ft7″ Facebook boss who weighs 154lbs has also trained with UFC fighters in the past.

He recently shared his jiu-jitsu journey on social media, winning several tournaments and claiming to have completed the difficult “Murph Challenge” in under 40 minutes.

The southpaw is heavily tipped for victory at 1/7, according to bookies William Hill.

Meanwhile, his opponent, ‘Chief Twit’ Elon Musk, was priced as the clear outsider at 4/1.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “This match-up could be fight of the year and if it were to happen, we’ll be fascinated to see which tech guru can truly claim to be the giant in the MMA field too.

“Having already impressed in a recent Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament, and with a known passion for the UFC, it’s no doubt that Zuckerberg has a strong standing if he were to put his gloves up against Musk.

“At 1/7, early signs suggest this could be quite a one-sided affair.

“That said, Musk is a man who never fails to surprise, and you wouldn’t want to write him off too quickly.

“We’re putting him at 4/1 to spring a shock against his fellow countryman.”

The 5ft11″ Tesla boss, with a net worth of $245.9 billion has often spoken about being in “real hard-core street fights” while growing up in South Africa.

The 51-year-old who weights 180lbs, lost over 30lbs since starting a new weight loss programme last year using a Zero fasting app.

He explained in a tweet that his tip for weight loss is a combination of fasting and no tasty food alongside his diabetes medication.

Last year he even challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to single combat.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine he tweeted: “I hereby challenge Владимир Путин (Vladimir Putin) to single combat. Stakes are Україна (Ukraine).”

“Do you agree to this fight?” he followed up in a second translated post, tagging the Kremlin’s official Twitter account.
