Home Alone 6: First look at original Buzz actor – Macaulay Culkin ‘will cameo as Kevin’

Back in the early nineties, Macaulay Culkin starred in the much-loved Christmas capers Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Since then there have been three spin-offs without the star, with the latest being two forgettable TV movies in Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House and Home Alone: The Holiday Heist. But now Disney have bought Fox, the sixth movie is acting as a reboot of sorts for the franchise and one that will feature some familiar faces.

Home Alone 6 was announced today as Home Sweet Home Alone and will hit Disney+ as an original movie on the streaming service on November 12, 2021.

The film will star British 12-year-old Archie Yates, best-known for playing Yorki in Jojo Rabbit, as Max.

While Home Sweet Home Alone co-stars Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell.

Fans of the original two Home Alone movies will remember that Devin played Buzz as a child actor.

Culkin’s Kevin even watched the fictional black and white movie his character viewed in Home Alone called Angels With Filthy Souls.

Ordering a pizza, he gets the gangster in the movie to say, “Keep the change ya filthy animal”, to the delivery boy, before beginning to prepare the house to look occupied for when the Wet Bandits strike again.

Home Sweet Home Alone hits Disney+ on November 12, 2021.
