Hogwarts Legacy is going to fully release on February 10, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The players that pre-ordered the deluxe edition of the title can now have early access of the game, which allows them to play the title 72 hours before release.
In order to commemorate this occasion, the developers set up a special livestream for the title. For the livestream, Portkey Games also set up Twitch Drops, which allowed players to receive special cosmetics by watching 30 minutes (30 minutes per reward) of the Hogwarts Legacy content on Twitch.
Through the Twitch Drops, viewers were able to collect cosmetic items such as Silver Dragon-Eyed Spectacles, Urchin Hat, Carmine Lightning Bolt Scarf and Lilac Ensemble. These Twitch Drops will be able available to claim from February 7 to February 24, 2023.

It seems that these Twitch Drops were integral in bringing in viewers to the Twitch Stream. In fact, it managed to bring in so many viewers, that Hogwarts Legacy managed to break the Twitch record set by Cyberpunk 2077. Through a report by VGC, it has been understood that Hogwarts Legacy had a peak of 1.3 million concurrent viewers, which breaks Cyberpunk 2077’s record of 1.1 million concurrent viewers.
