Hawkeye in India? Jeremy Renner plays cricket in Rajasthan, tries Indian food

This is not a drill, Marvel star Jeremy Renner is currently in India. Is he filming for a secret project or is he on vacation? We don’t know yet. But the actor who is best known for playing Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe took fans by surprise as he shared glimpses of his travels. And it involves playing cricket.

On Tuesday, Jeremy Renner shared a photo of himself in India. In it, he can be seen playing some good old fashioned gully cricket with local kids. The actor who is reportedly in Alwar, Rajasthan captioned the post, “What a blessing of life to discover, learn and be inspired by people and places across this planet!”

Fans were elated to find that Renner is in India as they took to the comments section to welcome him. “Padharo Mhaare Des,” one fan wrote. Another wrote, “Hawkeye playing cricket in Alwar, what a treat to watch! Welcome to Rajasthan Hawkeye!”

Jeremey Renner also took to his Instagram stories to share a drool-worthy table full of Indian food. He wrote, “Food is so good in India. Different dishes. Different regions” in his story.

In a previous post, the actor had shared a video of his welcome with an Avengers-themed cake in Delhi. The purpose of his visit is currently unknown.




Jeremy Renner was last seen in the Hawkeye series which also featured Hailee Steinfeld. The New York-set story which picked up after the events of Avengers: Endgame marked his first solo outing.
