Gordon Ramsay has only gone and become a Guinness World Record holder for making the largest beef wellington in history.

The TV chef created the beastly dish, which weighs around 25,76kg (or the equivalent of an eight-year-old boy), along with TikTok star Nick DiGiovann.

For context, a regular-sized meal weighs approximately 1.42kg.

Using his signature beef wellington recipe, Gordon and Nick recorded how they made the beef wellington, which revealed how they prepared a whopping 18kg of beef and used meat glue to hold it in shape.

Yep, we also can’t tell if this sounds like a kitchen nightmare or something we’d want to eat…

A large paintbrush was used to cover the beef with mustard before it was wrapped in layers of prosciutto, duxelles, which is a mix of mushrooms, onions, and herbs.

It was then wrapped in puff pastry before being placed in the oven to cook.

Once complete, the Hell’s Kitchen star described the huge beef wellington as ‘delicious’ and ‘beautiful’.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Andrew Glass was present to record the official results and confirmed the wellington had beaten the minimum weight requirement of 20kg.

Overjoyed by the results, Gordon lifted Mr Glass on his shoulders and spun him around before exclaiming ‘I love you’.

This challenge marks Nick’s eighth world record since 2021, which has since helped him amass more than 11million TikTok followers.

His previous world record attempts include creating the largest cake pop, the largest sushi roll, and the largest donation of turkey in 24 hours.

Nick also smashed Gordon’s previous record of the fastest time to fillet a 10lb fish.
