Dylan Brown will not miss more time on top of his NRL ban after the Eels opted not to suspend the star player following an incident in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last month.
Brown accepted sanctions from the NRL and the Parramatta Eels after the five-eighth entered a guilty plea to two charges of sexual touching.
The New Zealand international agreed to a set of conditions which will pave the way for his return, and will donate $20,000 to charity, commit to an alcohol management plan and address the club’s rising junior stars about his behaviour and the lessons he’s learned.

Brown was banned for seven matches and fined $40,000 by the NRL but half of that amount was suspended.
Parramatta also hit the star player with a $20,000 fine, which will be donated to a chosen charity between club and player. The star was spared a further ban from the club.
“Dylan has displayed genuine remorse for his actions towards the victim, and the impact on his family, his network, the club and the game,” Eels chief executive Jim Sarantinos said.
“He has a strong awareness of the severity of what has occurred and is extremely disappointed in his actions.

“The sanctions and initiatives that the NRL and the club have taken not only reflect the seriousness of what took place but also reflects the importance our club places on its values, whilst also ensuring that we provide the support to help Dylan become a better person moving forward.”
Brown will return for Parramatta in their round 23 game against St George Illawarra, having already served three games on the sidelines.
