The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is the perfect excuse to treat yourself.

Luckily the hospitality industry know that too, so our favourite haunts have put on quite the spirited royal spread.

So from sumptuous patisserie to mouth-watering burgers, here is our run down of the best jubilee-themed eats around the country.

Byron’s Elizabeefan Burger and Eton Mess milkshake

Burger specialist Byron has a new (and punny) creation. Yes, it’s the Elizabeefan Burger (groan), topped with slow-cooked roast beef brisket, red Leicester, pickled red onions and a touch of horseradish mayo (£13.79).

Wash it down with an Eton Mess milkshake (£5.99), with vanilla ice cream and strawberry coulis, topped with a meringue nest.

Pizza Hut celebrates royally with its Crown Crust, a crown-shaped pizza available at the Hut’s lunchtime buffet from June 2 to 5. Similar to a Stuffed Crust but with a royal twist, the Crown Crust Pizza has a regally shaped crust and is topped with Pizza Hut’s finest triple cheese blend.

Available nationwide, buffet £12.99 for adults, £6.49 for kids

Greene King pubs are adding a cocktail to their menu for the Jubilee weekend: The Queen’s Tipple is a resurrection of Her Maj’s favourite French aperitif, the Zaza, a mix of Dubonnet and Beefeater London Dry Gin.

Greene King will give anyone who visits its participating pubs over the weekend with a Corgi – and/or Corgi memorabilia – a Queen’s Tipple on the house.
