Fans Left Disappointed After JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 2 Doesn’t Get New Opening Theme

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 2 released on Netflix on September 1, 2022. The Part 1 of the show released on December 1, 2021 with 12 episodes and now finally, the rest of the 12 episodes have been released on the streaming platform. Fans had been waiting eagerly for the anime to drop, and were expecting a new opening theme song along with Part 2.

When it was evident that there is no new opening in the entire Part 2, fans of the show were disappointed.

JoJo changes to a new opening theme song in different parts, and fans were expecting the same this time. Part 1’s opening theme is Stone Ocean by ichigo from Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets.

In IGN’s review for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Part 1, the show received a score of 10/10 calling it a masterful adaptation: “Stone Ocean is a masterful adaptation of the manga, with a fantastic opening sequence, lush animation, and the weirdest Stands yet. It’s a redemption story with a JoJo who, like the rest of the family, isn’t about to take anything that happens to her lying down. Whether you’ve been here since Phantom Blood or you’re just jumping onboard to see what this JoJo business is all about, Stone Ocean is a ballet of blood-pumping weirdness and edge-of-your-seat drama that’ll keep your eyes glued to the screen.”
