‘Family Guy’ roasts Prince Harry, Meghan Markle for getting paid to do ‘no one knows what’

The ‘Family Guy’ is not a fan of these royal archetypes.

The adult animated comedy on Fox was not afraid to hurl a few insults towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in an episode that aired Sunday evening.

In the show, now in its 23rd season, cartoon versions of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear poolside after the protagonist Peter Griffin compares himself to the royal couple while sitting at a bar with his friends.

Worried that he won’t be able to get back the money he is owed, Griffin decides that his best bet will be to take on the world just like the royals did when they announced their plans to step back from their roles as senior members of the British monarchy in late 2022.

“I’ll go it alone, just like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry,” Griffin declares.

The scene cuts to Harry and Meghan, who are approached by a Butler who attempts to hand Harry a stack of envelopes. “Sir, your millions from Netflix for no one knows what,” he says.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been given the ‘South Park’ treatment once again, this time by Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy.

The Prince responds with a wave saying “put it with the rest of them.” Suddenly an alert on Meghan’s phone sounds off causing her to announce: “Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.”

The clip ends with Harry seemingly expressing some regret over leaving his privileged life in Britain as he announces, “I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense.”

The jab from the “Family Guy,” which was created by writer, actor and comic Seth MacFarlane and first aired in 1999, is a direct reference to the couple’s infamous failed $20 million Spotify deal.

“South Park” mercilessly mocked Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in an episode based on the exiled royals in February 2023.

A source close to the situation told The Post in June 2023 that the Archewell media company launched by Prince Harry, 39, and Markle, 42, didn’t produce enough content to receive the full payout of the  multi-million dollar deal the couple signed in 2020.

The cameo of the Sussexes from “Family Guy” is eerily reminiscent of recent comments made by Spotify CEO Bill Simmons, who referred to Meghan and Harry as “f–king grifters.”

This isn’t the first time the couple have been a punchline at the expense of an animated series.

Just eight months earlier, Comedy Central’s long running hit show South Park trashed the royal couple in an episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour.”

“Family Guy” airs Sundays at 9:30 p.m. ET
