Esports in India: Sid and Thug Talk About the Expansion Plans for S8UL in 2023 and Beyond

S8UL Esports members have recently revealed what plans the organisation has for 2023. On separate livestreams, S8UL Esports manager Sid and co-owner Thug talked about their big plans for the future.

Sid was in a livestream with caster Insane Arena who asked him questions about S8UL Esport’s future (via AFKGaming). Sid said that there are a lot of things the organisation is looking to do in 2023. Sid recalled his statement from early 2022 where he laid out a slate of plans that S8UL Esports wants to work on. Sid said that it took them only nine months to accomplish all of those goals.

Sid also hinted that YouTubers from outside India have approached S8UL Esports for collaborations, to increase their fanbase in the country. Though he can’t reveal anything for now, but apparently the influencers/actors that have approached the organisation are big enough to be in the news.

As for S8UL co-owner Thug, he was asked in his livestream if the esports organisation is going to sign a new lineup in the future for Call of Duty: Mobile.

Thug denied it, saying that GodLike Esports and Team Vitality are the top names when it comes to CODM esports. It wouldn’t make sense for S8UL Esports to enter this space. When it comes to the online battle arena game Brawl Stars, the title doesn’t have a significant presence in India. Thug said it’s hard to say what will happen in the future regarding the game. Similarly, Thug said that there are no plans of S8UL Esports to enter into the competitive Valorant space.
