Emmerdale’s Mark Charnock reacts to messages about on-screen daughter’s bullying storyline
Emmerdale actor Mark Charnock, 52, has taken to Twitter to react to the bullying storyline in the ITV soap. The star, who plays Marlon Dingle in the ITV drama, reacted to the most recent episodes which saw the drama exploring online trolling involving April Dingle, while sharing guidance from the broadcaster for parents and carers.
In view of his 180,100 followers, Mark thanked fans of the soap for their support.
He penned: “Thank you so much for the kind and supportive comments about the bullying storyline.
“Here is a helpful guide from our website if you and your kids are struggling with something similar.”
Mark helpfully provided a link for parents whose children are going through similar experiences.

“And it’s hard, when things like this bring back them old feelings,” he confessed to his daughter.
Mark’s grateful tweet comes days after he apologised to Instagram users for going on a “strange” unfollowing spree.
He wrote: “So Instagram seems to have unfollowed a bunch of people that I was following on my behalf,” he started.
