Television presenter Eamonn Holmes has revealed why he might be “bitter” towards Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
The 63-year-old left ITV to present on GB News in 2022 because he felt he “didn’t tick the boxes” at the national broadcaster.
He has now given an interview with fellow GB News host Dan Wootton where he has discussed everything from the fallout between presenters Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby right through to his views on 5G.
It comes after the host spoke out against the channel after Phillip Schofield sensationally quit earlier this week. The 61-year-old left This Morning after revealed he had an affair with a younger male colleague while still married — something he described as “unwise but not illegal”.

During the broadcast, Holmes revealed he feels “bitter” towards the former presenting duo. He says it is because they were seen to be promoting alcohol by broadcasting after the National Television Awards.
A This Morning look back on social media claims the duo “presented the entire show without having gone to bed” after a heavy night at the National Television Awards.
Meanwhile, Holmes says he and wife Ruth Langsford were barred by ITV bosses from advertising a box of chocolates due to perceived negative health benefits.
He explained: “Ruth and I are prevented from advertising chocolate in an advert because it is a poisonous product. Chocolate is poisonous and you’re not allowed to do it.
“We’re all freelancers and we’ve got to earn a living. People think we’re guaranteed a living forever.
“So Holly and Phillip, he can sell cars, she can sell whatever she wants.
“But these are rules for one and rules for another.
“Does that make me bitter? Maybe it does, maybe it does make me bitter.”
