Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson turns heads with ‘badass’ T-rex skull on Manningcast

The “Manningcast” finale had no shortage of curious moments.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined Peyton and Eli Manning on the Monday Night Football broadcast during the NFC Wild Card matchup between the Rams and Cardinals — and fans couldn’t help but notice a massive T-Rex skull sitting behind the actor.

“I got a T-Rex skull. That’s Stan,” Johnson said when asked about the dinosaur head over his left shoulder.

“As a matter of fact, so Stan was the most complete T-Rex skull ever found by a paleontologist, a young paleontologist and his name was Stan. So, this T. Rex head was named after him.

“Pretty cool and badass, isn’t it?” he said, laughing before sipping a cocktail.

According to CNN, Stan sold for $31.8 million at an auction in October 2020 to an undisclosed buyer. It was reportedly the highest price paid for a fossil ever.

Some Twitter users also noted that replicas of Stan are available for purchase, and questioned if Johnson obtained the skull that way.

Johnson joined the Manning brothers during the second quarter of the Rams’ 34-11 win over the Cardinals at SoFi Stadium.

The WWE legend also joked that he’d give Peyton the “Rock Bottom” — one of his signature moves in the ring during his professional wrestling career.

“I will drive Peyton into the mat and I will give him a nice neck adjustment,” Johnson said, laughing.

The “Jungle Cruise” actor also enjoyed a few Giants’ jokes at Eli’s expense.

All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson appeared on the Monday Night Football “ManningCast” finale.
