Dolly Parton has blessed us all once more ahead of Christmas, by joining social media platform TikTok in her singular style.

The music legend popped up on the video-sharing website on Sunday afternoon for the first time, writing, ‘Hey TikTok, it’s Dolly ❤️’ in her bio and cracking on with some prepared content.

Would you expect anything other than an A+ game plan on social media from Queen Dolly?

Her first TikTok was a montage of clips from across the country star’s career, set to her classic track 9-5 (fun when you can do that), with the 76-year-old writing in the caption: ‘I have arrived!’

That post has already amassed a whopping 1.8 million views as the singer’s followers soared past 371,000 in just 15 hours and she approached the one million likes mark too.

Dolly, who recently confessed she ‘cried on the phone’ after receiving a huge $100million donation from Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos for her charity endeavours, then had fun with a compilation of clips introducing herself as she asked: ‘What did I miss?’

She was also busy in the comments replying to fans as followers shared their excitement over her arrival.

‘The queen has entered the chat,’ announced one follower, while another posted: ‘Glad you’re here!’

A third gushed: ‘I just love how she introduces herself like we all don’t already know the QUEEN ???? Seriously one of the purest souls in this world ????’

She also posted a tongue-in-cheek ‘Better late than never!’ clip and another officially announcing her arrival on TikTok to her fans.

Perhaps her most triumphant move was a throwback to the 2020 meme she popularised, sharing four very different photos and labelling each with the suitable social media site it would be shared on.

Her original four, which included her image from a Playboy shoot, which was naturally labelled Tinder, were expanded to include a fun clip of her dancing for TikTok.

‘I wasn’t kidding when I said, “get you a woman who can do it all” ????,’ she joked.

Dolly of course also made sure that her account paid tribute to her fans, sharing a supercut of many TikToks that had been posted already and set to 9-5.

‘Looks like I missed a lot! You all are so creative. Now that I’m here, tag me! ❤️,’ she commented.

The music star recently reflected on the grief she felt following the death of Queen Elizabeth II back in September, having met her after performing at The Royal Variety Performance in 1977.

‘I got to meet the Queen! But I was so excited yet so nervous being a country girl, and all, but she was so wonderful and made me feel real special,’ she said during an appearance on The One Show.

‘That was one of the highlights of my whole life.’

Dolly revealed that she has a photo sitting on her dresser at home of her with the Queen, before explaining that she ‘felt honoured that I just got to meet her’.

‘But, she’s still around,’ Dolly added. ‘There’s a great old song called Precious Memories that talks about “unseen angels sent from somewhere to my soul”, so I always feel like our precious memories are like angels that are still around and you feel them and you feel like they’re never really gone.’
