Dolly Khanna buys stake in multibagger edible oils manufacturer in Q3

New Delhi: Seasoned investor Dolly Khanna added to her portfolio in the December quarter while she booked profits in cement player KCP, the latest shareholding data shows.

Khanna bought a fresh stake in edible oils manufacturer Ajanta Soya as she held 1,78,500 equity shares or 1.11 per cent stake in the company, as of December 31, 2021.

Her name was missing from the key shareholders’ list at the end of the September 2021 quarter. Companies are obligated to disclose names of shareholders who own at least a per cent or more stake in the company.



Incorporated in 1992, Ajanta Soya is engaged in the primary business of manufacturing edible oils (Vanaspati) and various kinds of cooking oil with applications products for bakery like biscuits, puffs, pastries and others.

Shares of Ajanta Soya zoomed 4 per cent to Rs 231.85 on Tuesday, before trading at Rs Rs 228.70 at 10.10 am. The scrip has zoomed more than 225 per cent in the last one year.

BSE barometer and benchmark Sensex was trading 71.64 points or 0.12 per cent lower at 60,323.99 at the time of writing this report.

Khanna also bought 28,000 additional shares in Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers as she increased her stake to 17,16,896 shares or 1.45 per cent in the December 2021 quarter from 16,88,896 equity shares or 1.43 per cent in September 2021 quarter.

The ace investor made fresh entry into Tinna Rubber and Infrastructure during the said quarter while increasing her holding in

, Butterfly and New Delhi Television ().

On the other hand, Khanna booked profit in cement player KCP as she sold 2,79,200 shares to trim her stake to 50,48,682 shares or 3.92 per cent in Q3FY22 from 53,27,882 shares or 4.13 per cent holding in Q2FY22.

Khanna also booked profits in Aries Agro,

, and NCL Industries, the data showed. Other companies from her portfolio have not disclosed their shareholding pattern so far.

She publicly holds 17 stocks with a net worth of over Rs 401.7 crore, Trendlye data showed.
