The first month of the year was definitely one for the books for award-winning actress Dolly de Leon, as she had the privilege of meeting some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

On Instagram, De Leon described January 2023 as a “crazy ride” as she shared some of her favorite moments of the month, which included meeting several Hollywood A-listers, attending the Golden Globe Awards, Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) awards, and participating in promotional events for the satirical film “Triangle of Sadness”.

Among these moments were a casual chitchat with Oscar best actress nominee Cate Blanchett during what appeared to be a restroom break; taking a photo with comedy actress Jennifer Coolidge during the Golden Globe Awards; shaking hands with English actor Bill Nighy; and, meeting Marvel’s Winter Soldier / Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan.

“Closing January and the crazy ride that came along with it with these sensational people. I have so much to be grateful for as I couldn’t have done any of it alone,” she said in the caption.

The “Triangle of Sadness” star also remained hopeful about the month of February in her post.

“Certainly not without the committed people in the beginning and end of this series. And every soul in between whose warmth has made my journey complete. [Onto February],” she said.

Other celebrities spotted with de Leon are Fusion Management co-founder Adam Kersh, and Oscar nominee Ke Huy Quan.

Celebrity stylist Liz Uy, fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, actors Rhen Escaño, Stefanie Arianne, and Nicco Manalo, and celebrity makeup artist Juan Sarte III couldn’t hide their excitement for de Leon, as seen in the comments of her post.

De Leon, who gained international acclaim for her role as Abigail in “Triangle of Sadness”, recently admitted that she “felt bad” over her Oscar snub, but she clarified that she had moved forward and that all the nominees are deserving of the nods. Despite this, she was named as Best Supporting Actress in Sweden’s Guldbagge Awards and Satellite Awards.

The Filipina actress also received a Best Supporting Performer nod from the LAFCA, which was shared with Ke Huy Quan. She also received a nomination for her role at the Golden Globes and the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

De Leon currently stars as Olivia Salvacion, a maid who was brutally murdered by the powerful Fiero family, in the ABS-CBN mystery teleserye “Dirty Linen”. EDV
