Netflix continues to dabble in the international reality game with its latest pickup from Spain. In this one, six couples agree to undergo eye-scanning lie detector tests. Those who choose deceit are punished while the truth tellers are rewarded with a cash prize.

Home Sweet Home Alone

Friday is Disney Plus Day and the streaming service has a slew of new releases to commemorate the second anniversary of its launch. To kick things off, Disney is going back to its bread and butter. Another “Home Alone” spinoff. In this one, Kevin (played by Macaulay Culkin) has been replaced by Max (Archie Yates) and the family goes to Tokyo instead of Paris. If you are thinking “not again,” you aren’t alone, but give this a shot as Ellie Kemper (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) and Kenan Thompson (“SNL”) co-star. Plus the original Buzz (Devin Ratray) returns for a cameo!

It’s especially great timing on the heels of Baskin suing Netflix for using footage of her in their promotion of “Tiger King 2,” which drops next week.

Yellowjackets

Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci star in this saga about an all-girl high school soccer team that survives a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness. Kamikaze

A new HBO Max original, this eight-part Danish drama sees 18-year-old Julie (played by Marie Reuther) go on a journey of rediscovery after losing her family in a plane crash.
